Inventory Controller

Job Details:

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. As our Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in optimising our inventory management processes and ensuring we maintain the right stock levels to meet customer demand. This full-time role is instrumental in supporting our company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Working with our retail and store teams to ensure accurate inventory controls
  • Analysing sales data and forecasting demand to determine optimal inventory levels
  • Monitoring and adjusting inventory levels to minimise overstocks and stockouts
  • Coordinating with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock
  • Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems and procedures
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical stock audits
  • Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and variances
  • Providing detailed inventory reports and insights to support business decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory management, within the retail industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity and experience with inventory management software and systems
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous process improvement
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Shopify a bonus
