Role Description and Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer supports the Cloud Platforms Manager by delivering and supporting Cloud Platform, Infrastructure and CICD services.

This role involves designing, coding, test and, deploying infrastructure as code.
The engineer oversees the full life cycle of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) activities related to systems and subscriptions for cloud environments, including computing, storage, network, connectivity, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2-3 years experience working with Cloud technologies
  • At least 1 years’ experience working in DevOps and automation environments
  • Experience in Financial Service (highly desirable).
  • Experience in assisting organisation in developing key cloud adoption strategies.
  • Familiarity with Terraform
  • AZ-204 Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate highly desirable
• Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automation for cloud infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.
  • Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation and costs.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ensure smooth and reliable deployment of applications and updates.
  • Provide training and support to development teams on DevOps tools and processes.
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
  • Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation.
  • Prioritise workload and manage numerous initiatives at once.
  • Prioritise system and configuration changes, making informed decisions based on business, compliance, and risk requirements.
  • Enable the delivery of system changes through co-ordination & adoption of Angle Finance’s IT Change Management framework.
