Inventory Administrator
Primary Purpose of Role
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for:
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for supporting the integrity, accuracy, and reporting of inventory across the retail network and distribution centres. This includes coordinating cycle counts, managing store inquiries, ensuring RFID data accuracy, producing critical stock reporting, and supporting continuous improvement of inventory processes.
Key Result Areas and Responsibilities
A. Inventory Administration
Ensure timely review of Freshdesk tickets relating to inventory.
Maintain consistent tracking and follow-up of in-transit stock.
Respond to store tickets regarding RFID and Inventory requests/inquiries.
Manage the Inventory and RFID shared inboxes with support from the Head of Inventory.
B. Reporting
Monthly reporting: stock write-offs, SIT, negative SOH, rejection rates, imperfect/odd locations.
Ad hoc reporting as required
Update RFID count spreadsheet weekly with auto-posted results.
Generate weekly aged SIT reports and distribute to the Retail Leadership Team (RLT).
Assist with generating weekly RFID count variances for stores that failed to auto-post.
Produce monthly Retail Stock Adjustment reports. Prepare and issue Store Action Forms related to inventory
discrepancies or process requirements.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Prerequisite Skills:
Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset.
High attention to detail.
Customer-service mindset when engaging with stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Highly organised and proactive Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Education/Qualifications/Memberships:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail environment
Exposure to Inventory/ stocktake systems is highly desirable
