Collections Officer (Australian Energy Company)
Keep cash flowing for a growing Australian solar and energy business
If you are a confident collector who is persistent, organised, and calm when customers push back, this role lets you own the follow up from invoice to payment.
About the Opportunity
Our client is an Australian solar, battery, and energy services company with residential and commercial customers. Around 80% of the accounts are residential and 20% commercial, mostly small and medium businesses with some large multi site customers.
You will join the finance team, working on a fixed day schedule during Australian business hours.
What You'll Do
Follow up overdue payments by phone and email
Agree payment commitments and follow up on the agreed dates
Keep accurate notes of contacts, commitments, and disputes in the CRM
Monitor aged receivables and prioritise accounts for follow up
Work with sales and operations to resolve issues delaying payment
Escalate higher risk accounts and report on collection activity
A fixed day schedule. No rotating shifts. You will call customers during Australian business hours, on the same schedule as the rest of the team.
What You Bring
Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit controlClear, professional phone manner and strong English
Resilience and persistence in difficult payment conversations
Strong attention to detail and disciplined record keeping
Comfortable with a CRM, accounting systems, and Excel
Nice to have: experience with larger corporate invoicing processes

Hours & Work Setup
This is a full time, office based role in Manila, Monday to Friday, on an 8 hour day plus a one hour break within Australian Eastern business hours (around 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sydney time).
