About the Role
As an Accounting & Finance Operations Specialist, you will support critical accounting and finance operations across cash application, invoice processing, payment posting, chargeback management, accounts payable, and sales tax administration. Working closely with US-based teams, you'll help ensure financial accuracy, timely processing, and smooth day-to-day finance operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related systems.
What You'll Do
Upload and reconcile invoice imports within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Process and apply customer payments, ACH remittances, bank deposits, credit memos, and pre-bill payments accurately and on time.
Manage chargebacks, disputes, and supporting documentation to ensure proper resolution.
Monitor and maintain finance-related spreadsheets, payment records, and bank reporting files.
Process accounts payable transactions and enter vendor invoices into Business Central.
Administer monthly sales tax reporting, filings, payments, and state-specific compliance requirements.
Generate financial and operational reports, including gift card redemption, commission, and transaction-related reporting.
Maintain documentation of finance processes and support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting operations, finance operations, or similar accounting-focused roles.
Strong experience in payment application, cash operations, account reconciliation, and transaction processing.
Advanced Excel and spreadsheet management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
Previous experience working night shift schedules supporting US-based operations.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Manila (1 work-from-home day per week).
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Experience supporting US-based finance teams.
Exposure to sales tax reporting, filing, and compliance processes.
Experience with ERP systems in accounting and finance environments.
