Microsoft 365 & Copilot Studio Technical Specialist
KEY ATTRIBUTES
This role is responsible for owning and continuously improving Splendid Group’s Microsoft 365 and Copilot Studio environment.
You will bring hands‑on experience designing, building and managing Copilot Studio agents, and apply that capability within a secure, well‑governed Microsoft 365 environment.
You will act as a technical specialist and trusted internal advisor, ensuring our systems are:

Practical for a fast‑moving agency environment
This is a hands‑on specialist role for someone who enjoys building, configuring, improving and taking responsibility for how things work in practice.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Microsoft 365, Copilot & AI Enablement
Design, develop and maintain Copilot Studio agents to support internal operations and client‑related workflows
Configure Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 to ensure appropriate, role‑based access to information
Establish clear guardrails for how Copilot and AI tools are used across the agency, balancing capability with responsible use
Act as a subject‑matter expert on Copilot capabilities, limitations and best‑practice usage
SharePoint, Information Architecture & Data Management
Own the structure, permissions and governance of SharePoint and OneDrive environments
Design and maintain logical, scalable information architecture aligned to how teams actually work
Ensure client data is appropriately segmented and protected through clear access controls
Maintain consistency and standards across sites, libraries and workspaces
Security, Privacy & Compliance
Implement and maintain baseline Microsoft 365 security and governance controls aligned to enterprise expectations
Apply practical approaches to PII, GDPR and client confidentiality requirements
Support identity and access management, including user roles and permissions
Proactively identify risks or improvement opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies
Standards, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Define and document technical standards, conventions and governance principles in plain English
Maintain clear documentation for systems, configurations and decision‑making
Drive continuous improvement through regular review of tools, configurations and usage patterns
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders, acting as a calm and credible technical point of reference
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Technical Skills (Required)
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Entra ID (Azure AD)
Demonstrated, hands‑on experience with Copilot Studio, including designing, configuring and deploying agents in a production or business environment
Solid understanding of information security, access control and data governance principles
Working knowledge of PII and GDPR considerations in business environments
Ability to design solutions that balance security, usability and scalability
Professional Skills
Self‑starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to non‑technical stakeholders
Clear, confident communication and documentation skills
Structured, methodical approach to problem‑solving
Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
3–6+ years’ experience in a technical, systems, IT or Microsoft 365‑focused role
Experience operating in enterprise or compliance‑aware environments
Demonstrated experience designing, configuring or maintaining secure Microsoft 365 environments
Proven experience building and operating Copilot Studio agents
