Bakery Customer Service & Office Administrator
About the Business and the Role
Lawley's Bakery has since 2003 been baking European style breads and pastries. We have 12 Lawley's Bakery Café outlets in the Perth area as well as a wholesale following of cafes, hotels, schools, and catering companies.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bakery Office Administrator. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bakery’s administrative and operational functions, including customer service wholesale and retail, data/order entry, dealing with customers day to day, calling and emailing customers, level of proficiency with Microsoft excel and teams, preparing production and picking reports for the production staff etc.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
· Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
· Provide a warm, professional, and solution-focused customer experience.
· Support wholesale and café customers with order queries, basic coordination, and follow-ups.
Operational & Administrative Support
· Prepare and maintain Daily Production Reports.
· Assist with scheduling coordination and internal communications between bakery and café teams.
· Support general office administration tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Inventory & Order Coordination
· Assist with ordering and tracking baking supplies, packaging materials, and operational stock.
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product stock availability aligns with production requirements
Requirements
· Experience in customer service or office administration, ideally within food service, hospitality, or FMCG.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and basic scheduling tools.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to work weekends, (not an ongoing requirement), only if someone is not available.
