Power BI Data Developer/Analyst
About the Role
We are looking for a Power BI Data Developer/Analyst to join our Manila team. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design data models, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for business performance monitoring.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources using Power Query and SQL.
- Design and implement data models and create measures using DAX for advanced calculations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security, including implementing row-level security where needed.
- Engage with stakeholders for requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI reports and datasets for performance optimization.
- Import, cleanse, transform data (modern Microsoft Fabric/Azure environment).
- Review/validate reports with stakeholders.
- Prepare and present insightful reports to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes.
- Apply governance (documentation, security, training)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Power BI data development/analytics or business intelligence roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop/Report Builder/SSRS, DAX/SQL, Power Query, Power Platform/Fabric/SharePoint (plus), Microsoft certifications (plus), strong UI/design,
- English communication, stakeholder engagement, attention to detail, ability to work onsite in hybrid role.
- Ability to work onsite in Manila and collaborate effectively with local and global teams.
- Knowledge of Excel (advanced), Python, or R for data analysis.
- Experience with Fabric, Power Platform, Fabric, SharePoint, Microsoft certifications, UI/design, stakeholder engagement.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
