Payroll Administrator
RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for accurately processing casual and monthly employee salaries in a timely manner. Address employee queries related to pay and benefits
while coordinating with HR and Byrnecut Payroll Team.
LEADERSHIP:
Actively keeping data up to date and following up timesheets for casuals on a
regular basis. Sending reminders out to all personnel when required.
FUNCTION:
Ensure that all employees have completed their timesheets for a given period. Liaising with the Byrnecut “Payroll” team to ensure employees are paid
accurately, on time, and in compliance with legal and organizational policies.
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
There are four main purposes of the role:
To process employee wages and salaries correctly and on schedule.
- To provide accurate payroll data for reporting, budgeting, and employee support.
- To securely manage and protect sensitive employee and payroll data from unauthorized access or breaches.
- To promptly address and resolve employee concerns or discrepancies
related to salaries, deductions, or benefits.
SECTION 1:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Jobs Management:
- Process payrolls for all employees in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Review timesheets, reports and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies (e.g. tax, benefits)
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and Byrnecut Payroll team
- Handle employee queries regarding payroll matters, benefits and any issues
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information and employee records
- Collaborate with HR and Byrnecut Payroll team on payroll-related issues and improvements
Quality responsibilities:
- Ensure precise calculation of wages to minimize errors and rework
- Meet all payroll deadlines to ensure employees are paid on time and reporting obligations are fulfilled
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee payroll data and ensure secure handling of sensitive
information
- Provide responsive and professional support to employees regarding payroll-related enquiries or concerns
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and implement system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

- 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing end-to-end payroll
- Working within a small company, small team
