Software Engineer (ITSM) 12-month role
Purpose of role
You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying of ITSM solutions for our ITSM application, which includes maintenance, upgrades, enhancement, monitoring, and administering all aspects of Symbio’s ITSM capability. Symbio’s “Assess” application is built on the Servicely platform. You will be responsible for administration and development work within this low-code / no-code development and delivery platform.
Impact you will make in this role
You will be responsible for supporting the Symbio Operations and Engineering teams across multiple business units within the group. You will be working on innovative ITSM workflow solutions that will enable the teams to work efficiently and effectively, incorporating automation and looking for ways to allow customer to self-serve.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Exposure to working within a no-code / scripting environment
- Experience with webhooks, JSON and XML
- Configuring and customizing business objects
- ITIL knowledge would be regarded favourably
- Experience in Python and GoLang would be beneficial
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Strong experience and exposure to large scale and complex applications.
- Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced and geographically distributed environment.
- You are a person who continually self learns and improves your technical skillsets.
- Are curious, tenacious and creative.
- Degree in Computer Science is desirable.
