OVERVIEW

The Business Analyst is a key member that works collaboratively in an Agile environment and focuses on improving our solutions for our ecommerce functions. The Business Analyst will help our team understand, define, implement, and measure new functionality that delivers on our business goals and improves our customers’ experience. This role is highly cross-functional, and works closely with our internal business partners, product and System Integrator (SI) team, and 3rd party vendors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their development needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications and business requirements

· Act as a liaison between the business and the development team by establishing the business and customer benefits by clarifying, translating requirements for actionable solutions

· Analyze intake requests and create artifacts to clearly define the “what” based on business scenarios and communicate to Engineering as a bridge to the “how”

· Help define the functional specifications and work closely with the development team to ensure the solutions meet the business needs and goals. Analyze and create mapping documentation

· Understand current state systems and business processes to become the subject matter expert for assigned areas, and adapt those processes to the desired future state

· Create clear and complete stories, including acceptance criteria

· Participate in sprint planning and agile project management processes to ensure technology solutions are delivered iteratively and in alignment with business priorities

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Experience working with mid-size business and/or enterprise level e-commerce platforms.

· Experience on tools like Jira, Confluence

· Knowledge of and experience working with google analytics and/or other similar metrics dashboards and toolboxes

· Planning and Organizing – Organizes work and initiates action to achieve optimal results; meets established schedules and plans.

· Ability to juggle multiple priorities ranging from strategic to tactical tasks

· Ability to delegate tasks to engineers

· Confidence to proactively dive in and learn new solutions and processes

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Ability to work independently and as a team member

· Ability to adapt within a fast-paced, changing environment

· Possess inquisitive and curious nature

· Strong knowledge of MS Office, Confluence and Jira

· General understanding of continuous deployment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Preferred BA in Computer Science
• Minimum 2 -4 years as a business analyst in Retail/ECommerce space (including, but not limited to: experience facilitating stakeholders through requirements definition, defining and documenting business requirements)
• Experience implementing large enterprise level CRM, POS, or ERP systems
• Proven ability to elicit and document business requirements, including data integration needs, execution dependencies, and process documentation.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Excel, Lucid Chart, Miro).

• Proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, or Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
• Golf knowledge and experience is a plus but not required.
